Pneumatic Ice Delivery System

Pneumatic Delivery Systems

Pneumatic Systems are used when ice is conveyed at distances over 150 ft (45 meters) or the rate of delivery exceeds 15 US tons per hour (13.6 MT per hour). When multiple delivery points must be served with divergent areas or if there are many turns or changes in elevation, pneumatic systems are the most economical choice.

Standard Features

  • Most economical when conveying ice over long distances, when multiple icing stations are required, when the ice must be greatly elevated, or when ice must be delivered at high velocity
  • Pneumatic delivery rates ranging from 10 to 40 tons per hour
  • Ideal for delivery points with divergent areas and multiple turns
  • Standard systems discharge ice up to 500 feet (152 meters) away from the storage bin
  • Thin wall aluminum conveying line tubing sizes range from 4" OD to 6" OD
  • Air chiller to ensure overall system performance and maintain optimal ice temperature
  • Provides high velocity discharge to trucks, boats or rail car
  • Provides low velocity, gravity discharge using a cyclone receiver for totes, case ice dispensers or buffer tanks
